Is nothing sacred anymore?

Someone sent me this and it bears sharing.

A few years ago a Jewish friend of mine went to an infamous Polish concentration camp where hundreds of thousands were murdered by the forces of hate, and she came back disgusted at the attitudes among visitors and locals alike, saying there was a vacation vibe there, complete with smiling tourists posing for selfies. She said what eroded her last tolerance for the place was a gift shop on the grounds and street vendors just beyond. Down the road locals were taking their children to the memorial forest planted there in the 1960s and letting them run around while they spread picnic blankets and left behind wine bottles and trash.

Well this video reminded me of her impressions and I think it says a lot.

Nothing much is sacred in this era, is it?

It's truly sad that people would want to make a carnival atmosphere out of what should be a monument to human suffering..places like that are places of remembrance and should be maintained with respect. They were left standing as a lesson to future generations of things that should never be repeated in history. :bluesad:

Sadly people forget too quickly things that should be remembered and why.
Hail to thyself
For I am my own master
I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.
