The Welsh actor, famous for his role as Battery Sergeant Major "Shut Up!" Williams in the World War 2 comedy It Ain't Half Hot, Mum passed away this weekend.

Loved that show as a kid. Got the boxed set and it was one of the first shows I introduced Kristi too.

I remember it in my nightmares, yes, but he also later went on to play a soldier in a military sitcom.
