This Is A webcomic called free fall. What you need to know is the narrator is named,  in human pronoun able sounds, Sam. He is wearing an exoskeletal suit with an air supply and animatronic facial expressions. He belongs to an alien race called the sqid. Yes, sqid.

His race evolved from scavengers not predators, they have no skeletal structure but adapted to live on land using sticks to help support their bodies out of water. They are cold blooded and rely on external heat.

He's  talking to an uplifted wolf gene nodded to be more human.  If you read into the series you'll see a classic comedy tribute.

I think RCM will like it.
