I think she'll be good at getting the male population into the theaters too.  But my  money's always going to be on Godzilla himself. (Itself?)

Squishy

Godzilla X Megaguirus (will this EVER be released in the US?) featured an ass-kicking "lady" pilot / anti-Godzilla-force commander; she punched a couple of people, dealt with the movie's "Kenny," pulled some "Han Solo" style flying and even got to ride Godzilla at one point.

Being an absolute die-hard "Godzilla" fan(who truly hates the badly botched American "Godzilla" failure with a passionate vengeance),I must say that this new entry sounds like it will be a pretty great effort to look heartily forward to,and if they take it several steps further(as the previous films did).

Amen, brothers, yea verily! I have the latest G-Fan, and it doth precied many wonders. Yee haa! May Deanzilla get jaw rot.

Maybe it's just me, but shouldn't Kiriko have gotten radiation poisoning for climbing around on Godzilla? At the very least, she should have been attacked by a Shokilas.

Eh, G-Grasper uniforms probably have a certain amount of shielding; if Godzy had "lit up" while she was on board, she probably would've popped like a sausage in a microwave...which is almost certainly what happened to all the shokilas who stuck around...

Embarassing moments: Right after that terrific sequence, Kiriko drops off Godzy into what is very obviously a pool; there is hardly a ripple in the water, just after the massive Godzilla has supposedly plunged under the surface a short distance away. Probably the same pool that Kiriko falls into later, in the stupidest scene in the entire picture (unfortunately part of the climax)...
