Some negative comments re this non member were made.

Another one I like  is "the asphalt jungle" with sterling Hayden. Thatcs one of my favorite film noires. Also the ONKY move with Marylin Monroe I watch, and I watch it despite her

Seriously, I don't hate Monroe but I can't stand her acting. To me she's the most overrated star ever. I guess if you xxxx a president and die young you get famous...

only 3 black and white movies..., again an impossible task

here's 10 stupendous black and white films:

King Kong (1933), Godzilla (1954), Dr. Strangelove, City Lights, The Gold Rush, The Invisible Man (1933), Seven Samurai, On the Waterfront, Psycho, The Third Man
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

In cold blood was an extremely powerful B&W movie and one I donct himk would have been as effective in color.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968) was made in the age of color, as was ERASERHEAD, and ED WOOD-all great films.

Not necessarily my 3 favorites, but the're definitely AMONG my favorites:

* ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES (1938)

* THE HUSTLER (1961)

* NOTORIOUS! (1946)

Really, there are too many to pick only 3.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

WingedSerpent

Great movie! I would add NOSFERATU (1922) , the BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935) and any 3 Stooges' short from the 30's or 40's.

ER

Carnival of Souls. It's short, to the point, has a nerd in lust, and it's creepy as a stalking leopard.

"The visit" with Anthony quinn.  Havenct seen it? Correct that.

A modern remake could be good.
