The woman who plays George C. Scotts wife in the EXORCIST III is Zohra Lambert, who played Jessica in LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH! And the music playing on the music box at the beginning of Lt. Kinderman's nightmare is Swan Lake- which also plays at the opening of DRACULA (1931).

ZOHRA LAMBERT also played WARREN BEATTY's wife at the end of SPLENDOR IN THE GRASS.  I hate that movie, but I love her.

She used to appear in TV commercials.  GOYA!  Oh boya!

Wow! RC, if your head ever explodes reels of film are going to come spooling out....

You know what you ought to do is illustrate a graphic novel about movies, how they were made, scenes, the actors, trivia, whatever strikes your fancy. I think it would get read.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

^ Maybe you would, but I don't think anyone else would. Because it's all junk that no one would think about or care, because it's just random nonsense. There's no real rhyme or reason to my brain whatsoever.

Back to EXORCIST III- the line where the priest tells the cop about kids and lemon drops is the same line used in the first movie by the same priest in the first film. He says it to Father Karras.
And the story about the carp in the bathtub Lt. Kinderman tells is in the book ' the Exorcist' by William Peter Blatty.

Me and Tiana have been watching lotsa horror films on TV ( Pluto and Tubi- we don't have
cable), and one we rewatched the other day is HELLRAISER. And I seen this movie a few times, and I never noticed until now that the actor who plays the Dad is Andrew Robinson. The same guy who plays the psycho in DIRTY HARRY (1971)! Cool!

How is Exorcist 3?

I really like the first one. I also like the 2nd one, but not nearly as much.

I like it better than II- which is awful! In a good way!
III is a good movie, but very slow! Not a party movie!

It's got Jason Miller (from the first movie, and Brad (Chucky!) Doriff. And George C. Scott!
It's a weird, creepy film...
