I seriously just made an account here just to see if anyone could help me find this film. The Hair Witch Project came out very quickly after The Blair Witch Project and was obviously a parody. All I remember of it was it was hilarious and had a drag queen in it. It was a very small indie film but we rented it at a blockbuster (or Hollywood video?) in central California. Weird thing is there is no IMDB page for it but it's VHS is listed on Amazon but says it's out of stock. Best leads I've found to who made it was in the Amazon reviews someone named Brian A. Bosworth commented saying he wrote and acted in it. But he eluded to the fact the names listed as "actors" on Amazon was actually just character names not real names. He said they filmed it in San Diego though. This film has become the white whale of my family, we all want to see it again! I'm trying to track down a copy of this movie or info about who made it so I could possibly contact them and see if they have a copy. Searching "Brian Bosworth" is difficult since it's also and football players name. He might go by Alex Bosworth though...

Ugh, this lockdown is giving me nothing but time to obsess about finding this film! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know seriously! I've only seen some random posts over the years of people trying to find this film again cuz it was so funny it stuck with them. But outside those few that have seen it and loved it, no one seems to have even heard of it!

This is the first I'm learning of The Erotic Witch Project though lol

it's a snoozefest! weirdly me and a friend rented that one from our local blockbusters back in the day, and like your one I can't find it on imdb either (but 2 possibly related sequels appear to be listed)...it is on amazon though

The links aren't working. Though I don't think anything on YouTube is the film I'm speaking of. I saw there was some little college indie film called The Hair Witch Post on YouTube so maybe that was the links you listed? But yea, a couple tv shows named episodes THWP so it's muddying up any search results for the film.

After staying up all night with nothing better to do than obsess over finding this movie. I went down an insane rabbit hole and after hours of searching and many blind emails and tweets to people that were possibly involved. I just heard back from the writer/star! If I'm able to get a hold of a copy I'll post the info here. It really is cheesy/hilarious!
