EVP....

EVP is something that fascinates me but I don't put a lot of faith into it.  I've done numerous recordings at "haunted" locations in my area yet have never found any type of definitive proof.  You can record anywhere and most of the time you will get some type of EVP.

The problem, in my opinion, is the human mind itself.  If you hear a recording and know that you are looking for something within it, then you will hear something.  If you are told to listen to an EVP and are told what someone else hears in it, you will also hear the same thing.  It's a strange condition that affects even the best of us.

I believe there may be some use in it, but it's too problematic to be truly considered as "evidence" of paranormal activity.  That being said, I'm always up for a good EVP recording and love trying to catch a clear EVP myself.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Around 2006 I tried this. I went into a ruined farmhouse in Switzerland County, Indiana that'd had a double murder back in the day, an Iron Horseman shot an Outlaw on-site in the '80s (or maybe the Outlaw shot the Horseman), and I was alone though in the broadest of daylight (I'm not THAT brave) and clutching my digital voice recorder, trusted DE loaded and at my side, I merrily trespassed while seeking evidence of the unseen, and you know I DID get a voice on my recorder? Yes, it was female, twenty-something, and it occasionally said, "Is anyone here....? Would anyone here like to talk to me....? Are you the spirit of the biker murdered here.....?"

And I swear to goodness that voice sounded just like mine!*

It was a fun waste of time.

* John, that's a joke, I mean only my voice was on the recorder.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

No.  You know it was no joke.

I think it's like looking for faces in clouds. If you want to see them, there they are.

" Look! That cloud looks like Mickey Mouse, only with smaller ears!"
