Ok there's a little toho human monster flick called in english 'the human vapor". (No, it's not about a guy with super flatulence...)  that seems to have possibly 2 ends.

In one end the vaporous villain is killed and is shown to die in the aftermath of a huge explosion set off by the woman he loved.

In what may be a different ending, he survives the explosion unharmed because he is immortal and indestructible and must live forever with the guilt of his crimes.

Any badmoviephiles know if there are in fact 2 endings to this one? I've looked but the movie isn't that popular and not a lot of data on it. I did see one ending where he died and one where he was telling a roomful of people he survived the explosion and can never die but wanted to.

The wiki page only has one ending for it. And back in 1960, alternate endings really weren't a thing as they are today.   I had an old issue of G-Fan magazine that talked about the film, but don't remember them mentioning the two endings.  Just the one with them dying at the end.

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I have copies of both the original Japanese version and the rarely seen American edited version and they both have the same ending: the explosion and death of the vaporous criminal.

Well,  I remember seeing it with the human vapor surviving and telling some people he was forced to live with the death of his love.  Someone else saw this version too.

I thought that would be the Japanese ending as the Japanese view immortality as a curse.

Very late to the party with an answer for this, but it seems that if you saw two different endings, why would you ask the question in the first place?
