What's the nicest or most unusual theater you've ever been to?

When you say theater, does it have to be a movie theater?

It can be a ham sandwich, if you want.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Y'know, I did see Battlefield Earth in a ham sandwich. It was in Tel Aviv, of all places....

I think the loveliest theater I know is Cincinnati's Music Hall. And, yes, movies have been shown there, and boxing matches fought, and George Carlin performed there.

Also in Cincinnati there used to be a little repertory theater off Race Street owned by a DJ named Larry Thomas, and it only held maybe 120 people, but the seats would lean way back and were plush and the snack bar had eclectic cool stuff and the movies shown there were the kind that never would have gotten screen time at a multiplex. My Dad used to take me there to see weird films from time to time. It was a great place.
