Sorry about the lack of details, only thing I can remember is a white guy (possibly dark haired, balding, businessman type, aged about mid 30s-40) shoots himself in the head, I think in a restroom, and you see him slumped sitting against the wall.its possible he shoots himself offscreen then the camera moves to him

Could even be a fairly well known movie. I'm thinking its quite a 'guy' kind of movie, late 80s action/thriller type thing...

It was a mainstream cop movie (co-starring Andy Garcia, Ian Holm, and Richard Dreyfuss) and it was downbeat........
