Nightmare Alley (2021)

A lot of the advertising for this movie makes it look like a horror movie. But really its more of a thriller or nior style film.

A shady man gets work at a traveling circus freak show where he learns the inside tricks of the acts. He uses said tricks for personal gain and soon finds himself in a world of trouble.

Good acting. Interesting story and a nice reminder that not everything is a marvel movie superhero flick.  I pretty much went to see it because I wanted to see something that wasn't part of an established franchise.

I'd say it good enough to go see.

If you haven't, check out the original NIGHTMARE ALLEY (1947)  Starring TYRONE POWER.  It's his best picture, and wonderful.  And disturbing.
