This was the first compilation of horror and fright flicks I ever saw and I was pleasantly surprised to see in it full on Youtube: nice to see Donald Pleasence again and the lovely Nancy Allen.

I saw it in the theater and was disappointed because they cut a lot of the scenes right at the moment when the big pay-off was about to happen!

This s the movie that made me seek out the Martin Landau, Jack Palance, and Donald Pleasance 'psychos escape the nut house' movie ALONE IN THE DARK (1982), which I love!

Wow-- me too!  I remember laughing at Landau staring at the guy and saying "I want that hat!".  I did eventually track it down.  It's okay.  Jack Palance as a psycho may not be that much of a stretch.

Also, this flick helped me be a little less scared of horror movies.  Seeing all those people reacting in the theater to the movies made it feel a lot less real to me.  I remember taping this on VHS.

i love this movie it does not bother me that they cut the pay off scenes. i was always hoping they'd do a sequel to this done the way it was done here, i have it on VHS and on bluray on the halloween 2 set.  i want to get the stand alone bluray for it though.  there is if i recall 2 versions of it one with the nudity and one without it that's shown on tv if i recall and one is longer than the other as a matter of fact.

i finally did get to see Alone in the dark (1982) i thought it was terrible but those scenes did make me want to see it

Allhallowsday

I saw TERROR IN THE AISLES when it was new in theaters.  They don't make compilation movies like that anymore.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!
