Happy Turkey Day! I had turkey, stuffing, my mom's mom midwestern casserole, gravy, pumpkin pie with home made whipped cream...and that was from Dinner. I was scheduled to work today, so I had some stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, and dirty rice.

Dirty rice? Oy 😳😉

Dirty rice ain't bad at all... tastes better than it looks, lol.



We also had Jamaican and Indian dishes at the two Thanksgivings I attended. The blood orange tart I made went over well, too.

I tend to stay away from the old school dirty rice since I don't care for liver. The one I had was made with ground pork. Would recommend.
