"a savage hunger" movie ?

i just got a copy of this really pretty good "alive"-type movie. actually it's just about the same movie only it came out way before "alive" and it's also better.

so the plane crashes and survivors eventually turn to cannibalism. "savage hunger" does a good job of showing how people would hord food and lie to each other. good character development. pace isn't boring. it's got a fair amount of action and even a little nudity---tasteful of course. also an interesting role for the always likeable chris makepeace.

HERE'S MY QUESTION: i realized i had seen this before. maybe i rented it back in the days. i can't remember. WAS THIS EVER ON BASIC CABLE? like monstervision or usa up all night or sci-fi?

...things like this bug me when i can't remember.
