i was appauled to learn of a remake of romeros classic dawn of the dead is to be made make no mistake with a former troma and now scooby doo writer at the helm of the pen this is gonna be hell in its purest form (s**t).
I wont be happy if a member of the romero family or tom savini directs it.

But with hollywood involved dont be supprised to here the worst casting rumours ever just to prepear you here are my suggestions for worst cast.

Peter: Will smith
Roger: Lianardo (DiCraprio) DiCaprio
Flyboy: Ben affleck
The Zombies: The cast of pear harbour

I'm not sure if it will even be made. The idea has been around for awhile actually and I think anyone who remotely knows about the original and Romero's films is disgusted by the idea.

No, the cast would be more like this:

Peter: Lil' Bow Wow
Flyboy: The retard from the Dell commercials
Roger: David (Mr. Cox) Arquette
and the female survivor would be Denise Richards. Going for the hip young cast, you know? The zombies would be CGI, of course. Does anyone even want a remake? Dawn Of The Dead is a classic and I can't concieve of anyone matching or topping it.

              Kriss,your prposed remake cast list is way more frightening,than news of this gratuitious remake itself.
                 It's just bad enough that we've got remakes of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre","Foxy Brown","Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia","The Toolbox Murders"(yep,you read that right),and many,many more raining down upon us within the next upcoming months....

I'm not one to snub my nose at remaking a classic.  Phillip Kaufman's Invasion of the Body Snatchers and John Carpenter's The Thing both surpassed the originals, both thought to be untouchable.  If Dawn was given to a capable director who was going to try and improve Romero's original (competition is good) I would be
really excited.  There is no such thing as an untouchable movie.  All films can be expanded on and made better.  Film snobs love to say "Oh, you can't touch that film, it's a classic" but give it to a director who can live up to the challenge of updating and improving an already excellent source material and you could have gold.  However, that ain't the way Hollywood works.  I've read an interview on the net with the screenwriter who sounds like he wants a younger more attractive cast, and it to be more of an "action" flick.  Too many directors are more interested in whether a film can cut a good trailer and have a good opening weekend than trying to make a film with impact with both original material and remakes.  I'm sure Hollywood will botch this one up, but that is more out of negativism (I think that's a word) than that I don't believe it can be done.

5.Riff Raff: hulk hogan(Dont even need the hair prop)
6.Magenta: winona rider(adds a bit of goth to this camp crusade)
7.shortie:halle berry(i just wanna see here in a short skirt)
8.eddie: chad kroger(No reason other than seeing a painfully thin man in the morbidly obese meatloaf roll).
