Just saw this great piece of work last night. WOW. Christain propoganda film about the dangers of drug use. Herschell smokes a joint, gets hooked (even goes through withdrawal and the shakes!), turns into a giant turkey monster, kills people. Moral: don't do drugs. The best parts are the existential musings of an old man smoking cigarrettes, commenting on the action. At one point he goes into a coughing fit because of the cigarrettes. No need to edit that!

5 slimes. A must see. I found an old copy at my video store, but I believe Something Weird carries it too; there's a much better review than mine by Frank Henenlotter on their site.  CHECK IT OUT!!!!

Woof, you like this one a lot more than I do Will.  The film is darn slow at times, when the turkey-headed mutant is not draining people of their blood.  The other problem is that the film is so dark and murky as to obscure at times.  I want a crystal clear picture of the freak!

True, true. I think I'm mainly captivated by the narration breaks, the dialogue delivery of the "bad girl", and the 70s porno soundtrack!
