I bought three movies today:

Invasion from the inner earth, Zone Troopers, and Dogtown and Z-Boys.

Invasion from the inner earth:

Now here is a movie. . . . . . a really bad one. Not much happens, alot of funny dialogue. Some flashlight 'special' effects, dumb ending, no aliens to be seen the whole movie, slow pace. Man. Althought the atrotious dialogue kept we awake and laughing. It wasn't a complete letdown I guess. according to the credits the directors name was ITO. (A.k.a Ito Rebane, A.k.a Bill Rebane)

Zone Troopers:
Watched most of this and so far it was highly enjoyable, some great moments ("You're off my christmas list buddy", "Did I just K.O Hitler?!?!"). Another one from Empire. Edited by the director of Bad Channels and TerrorVision, I found that humourus. Charles Band produces. Worth checking out I thought, it had an amusing plot, and I thought that the sets and the costumes were realistic.

Dogtown and Z-Boys: A great documentary on the 70's surfing and the birth of skateboarding and how it has influenced youth in the past and present. Won many awards from Sundance and AFI. I found it to be really interesting and had great archival footage. Even if you don't skateboard (like me) this is a great movie to check out if you're into documentaries.

thats all for now.

I enjoyed ZONE TROOPERS, but then again, I also enjoy seeing that video stores usually misfile it in the "horror" section.

I remember it as being very comic-booky.  Especially with all the faux 40's dialogue.  Still very enjoyable, and pretty good for it's budget.

Tim Thomerson is an acting king!
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Just a good, weird time had by all. Loved the music, too.
