I bought a Box-Less "CREEPSHOW 2" today for a buck, and watched it.

Now tell me this, Has it been edited?
Have a Look see:

story one:
at the end when the wooden indian pulls the son through the wall and is about to scalp him, right before it happens it cuts.

story two:
also at the end when the guy finally gets out of the water and goes "I BEAT YOU" and it goes to a shot of him turning around 'it' and engulfing him, only as this is happening is fades away before it hits him, and then it goes to a shot of the 'blob like' thing sliding off the beach, with a lump in it.

Did I get an edited copy? Or the real release?

Its the real release.

Director Micheal Gornick (long time DP for George A. Romero) chose to 'look away' at times, which made the movie resemble several juicy episodes of Tales from the Darkside (the Laurel Group TV show that was getting produced at the time of this movie's production which, likewise, was from Laurel Group) rather than an actual sequel to Romero's movie.
