Killer Puppets and other nonsense

You know, on the Internet Movie database, they say that Puppet Master (part 1) follows Dolls. Does anyone know if that is true?
Also, how does this sound? (after all, if I can suggest a remake of Freddy Got Fingered and not be hunted down, how bad could this be?)
Puppet Master 1-leave as is
Puppet Master 2-more or less (maybe have some thing about the puppets bringing either Toulon's body back, and he's missing a soul, or perhaps they just brought some random corpse they thought was Toulon back, and it was really the bad guy from the first film
Puppet Master 3-NOT a prequel. The doll lady (you know what I mean) is on teh road, bringing her magic puppet show on tour of all the mad houses in teh world. becasue crazy people just LOVE dolls that move on their own. But she screws up, and takes her show to the same hospital where Alex is staying. He's knows she's up to no good, and he starts plans to stop her and bring the puppets down, or at least on his side. He gains control over some of them, but it's not enough. Some turn, and some don't. In the end, the doll lady (and several doctors, inmates, and random people) are dead, and Alex is being chased by the cops. he only has enough energy to phone a former pupil of his (Rick from PM4&5) and whisper the word's: "Brodga bay inn" before being cut down a hail of gunfire.
What do you guys and gals think?

No that isn't true at all, dolls and PM have no connection really other then that dolls came from empire pictures that eventually became fullmoon pictures. I kind of liked the flow of the first 3 films as is. Sure there are many plot holes but you can see the connections. The ending of part two I was never crazy for to begin with.
