An Interesting Thought on

This is about "THE ARRIVAL".  I want you to think about this.  This is purely fantasy but I have always wondered what it'd feel like to stand in that alien "identity changer device" as my face was pulled & twisted into another form.  Would it hurt?  None of us have ever experienced that kind of thing before.  Imagine yourself in that very same scenario only IT'S FOR REAL and that technology was right there before you.  You only had to step foward and let it take effect.  Would your face go back to normal after a certain period of time?  Would you be normal again after you used it?  If it did hurt( which I'm sure it would a little)  how long would the pain last?  If faced with the same situation Mr. Sheen faced in the film, would you do it?  Would you step into that device to save yourself or possibly be captured and executed by the aliens?  What thoughts would be running through your mind if & before you did it and would you have a game plan once you summoned the courage to do so?

Hmmm, I would be interested in what you would think. I know I would be terrified, (I know i am not very brave) But by that point in the movie I think it is one of those situations where you might as well do it because you really have nothing to lose. Man would the adrenaline be pumping.

Like I posted in the other thread, I thought it simply covered him in fake skin. It showed the aliens knees and thumbs changing position, but humans wouldn't need that change. Charlie didn't act like it hurt, just got a little unpleasant when it started to bubble.

I would still be scared s**tless though!

I'd probably walk into it by accident being the klutz I am.
haha i can see me gawking at all the alien technology and blindly walking right into one. now that'd be crazy.
