Is Freddy even really a slasher? I would say not.

The best slasher has to be Mike. He is experienced from age 1 and always seems to be befuddled after he kills. He creeps me out and that walk is scary. He taught the Scream guy all he knows

I liked the faceless man from Kolobos a lot, especially the acid-shower death. Kolobos is pretty much your average poorly-acted indie slasher fodder, but it was ripped off so incredibly badly for Halloween: Resurrection (reality TV special turned into a slashfest when a killer is entered into the mix), but the deaths are really quite cool, and a few scenes are mindf**kingly good.
