And We're Back

I am back on the job here, for a little while at least (leaving again in about two weeks - though that is only for a few days).  Had a couple of funerals come up, including the Cpl who was stabbed to death last week.  He was from the Atlanta area.  Also, I have orders on the board to report to the Marine unit in Amityville, NY.  The irony of such a posting is not lost on me.

Unfortunately, Katie and I had just started tearing apart the kitchen here to redo it.  Finished the painting yesterday and I am starting to building cabinets this weekend.  I have a few hundred board feet of white oak in my woodshop for the project.  After those are done the tile floor goes in.  If we do not go to war and I bust my butt, I figure that can be done by  the middle of February.

Anyway.  All I am doing today is answering email and catching up.  Sorry for the absence.
