Well as you may have seen my list of Horror/Sci-Fi has almost run dry and I may need the aid of NETFLIX to see the unseen. NETFLIX has about 100 films that I haven't seen. Here is a  list of films that I plan on seeing next from my local rental store.

La Strada (Fellini and Quinn)
Hells Angles (Somekind of documentary/movie filmed 30 years ago, looks good)
Pale Rider (Hoping to be pleasantly surprised)
Jason Goes to Hell (The box cover looks ok)
Quick and the Dead (Western, any thoughts?)
Puppet Master III (uh, why not? I liked the first two)
Wishmaster (the latest one, I really want to give this series one more chance)
Ballistic (Lucy Liu)
XXX (Someone said they liked it)
Quills (Have to see it for some reason, but haven't been given good reason)
Master of Disguise (This sounds like a waste of money, I'll keep this one at the  end)

>Quick and the Dead (Western, any thoughts?)

Yes: Sharon Stone was hot. Also, Leonardo DiCraprio gets killed, so that's a definite plus.

Quick and the Dead (Western, any thoughts?)

I liked it.  It was very stylistic. I think it was basically Sam Raimi''s homage to cliche's of the genre because the plot was about as cliche-ridden as could be but it was well excuted with highly stylish photography and the actors carried it well.

Puppet Master III (uh, why not? I liked the first two)

In a Full Moon series, quality in sequals is sketchy at best, but if you liked the first two, you shuold enjoy this one as well.

Puppet Master 3 is in my opinion inferior to most of the series, try it but I wouldn'tsay be excited, I thought it was okay but you never know. Plus I glorify part 2 so that might have given it some hamperments but oh well.

The Quick and the Dead is amsuing, Sam Raimi does the usual and it looks good.

xXx just p**sed me off. the avalanche scene is extremely amusing though.

>>>Master of Disguise (This sounds like a waste of money, I'll keep this one at the end)

I thought this movie was hilarious.  It probably helped that my expectations were so low.  I was just expecting a dumb kids movie.  However, there's a lot of references that kids would never get......Like a bizarre Jaws/Quint reference.  Very hilarious in my opinion.

Creepozoid

Screw you guys. PM III is an all-time fave of mine.

Fearless Freep

Huh?  I just said that if you liked the first two, you'd orobably liked the third,  That's an important qualification, given Full Moon's catalog; some people like it, some people don't. Haze just liked part 2 so much that part 3 wasn't to the same level.

Neither of us lionized, but neither of us slammed it.  If you love it, that's great, but no need to jump on us for recommendations with reservations

Puppet Master Part I was much better than Puppet Master Part II in my opinion. I liked them both, but the first one was really fun.

I_Luv_Dolma

Spiders II sounds good. I might rent it.

Foywonder

Admit it. You are secretly Charles Band, aren't you?

The Burgomaster

PALE RIDER is decent. I liked it a lot the first time I saw it at the cinema, but repeat viewings aren't nearly as satisfying. It is basically a remake of HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER. The scene where a guy gets shot about 30 times at close range before he falls down is pretty amusing. Also, the blatantly obvious symbolism (such as when someone recites a quote from the Bible, just as Clint appears on his horse outside the window) gets to be annoying at times. But if you're a Clint fan, you won't be disappointed because he does kick plenty of butt.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Scott

Thanks Joe, sounds like I'll be seeing PALE RIDER soon. Have you seen FIST FULL OF DOLLARS? Is it better than A FEW DOLLARS MORE?
