Old School.. more like Old.. uh.. Fool?

Holy s**t this movie looks terrible. Am I the only one who thinks Will Ferrell is really really stupid? Sure, he was funny sometimes on SNL, but as far as carrying a movie goes, his dumbass antics only go so far.

He can't carry a movie, and this thing can't carry him...Jeez, and I thought the trailer for "Eight Crazy Nights" was terrible. Were this an old Troma film, it would be titled "Pathetic Aging Loser Goes Nutzoid!" or "Middle Age Crazy Fart! II." Rodney Dangerfield might make this sort of turd float with a 'special' audience, but as it stands, I'm just wondering why it doesn't have "National Lampoon's..." in the title.

My theory is that the secret to Will Ferrell's success is that he's the most physically recognizable member of the SNL cast in the past 8 years. I mean, he's alright, and his James Lipton impression is great, but he doesn't seem quite funny enough to get the name recognition he's getting.
