The 20th Annual Insect Film Fest at U of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana, to be held next Saturday (Feb 15th), will be a tribute to Bert I. Gordon. Three of his bug movies, Beginning of the End, Earth vs. the Spider & Empire of the Ants will be shown.

**More importantly, Mr. Gordon himself will be in attendance!**

Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

The Burgomaster

Excellent. I bought EMPIRE OF THE ANTS on dvd. I would take great pleasure in personally thanking Mr. Gordon.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Are they going to serve Fried Ants and batter dipped crickets in the cafeteria? Humm...wonder if the Mistys in the audience can keep from riffing on these gems...he he he...bet not!
Crow T. Robot: "One weekend a month my ass!"

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

Yea, that sounds like a good one Ken. 3 movies and the director in attendance. To far for me though.
