If you haven't seen the movie GIRL GANG, I suggest you put it on your list.

I bought in on dvd from Something Weird Video. It is part of a double feature with THE VIOLENT YEARS.

Anyway, GIRL GANG is a typical, low-budget, sleazy George Weiss Roadshow Production from the 1950s.

Most of it takes place in the apartment of a pusher named Joe (no relation). Naive teenagers show up to buy marijuana from him. Pretty soon he has them shooting heroin. He teaches the girls how to inject themselves in their thighs so that people won't see the needle marks. (This results in several gratuitous shots of girls with their skirts hiked up, revealing their silk stockings & garters).

Joe the pusher spends a lot of time kissing girls and heating up heroin on spoons.

Sometimes, some of the girls drive around in a car and rob passing motorists or gas stations. During a typically hilarious gas station robbery, one of the girls shoots the gas station attendant, and then brilliantly throws the loaded gun on the ground right beside him. Of course, he picks it up and shoots back.

Bad acting, dumb dialogue and cheap sets make this movie a "must see." Plus, it's only about an hour long, so you can easily squeeze it in to your busy schedule.

People who saw it during its original release must have been shocked at all the sexual innuendo and graphic (for the time) drug use. Naturally, this one did NOT receive an approval from the censors!

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Haven't seen this gem yet, but have seen the very similar Gun Girls, also a George Weiss production starring the ubiquitious Timothy Farrell.  Gun Girls is the usual Weiss riot of dilapidated (almost falling down) sets, flat ludicrous dialogue and bizarre behavior (there is absolutely no motivation suggested for why these girls go "bad" -- they just do, dammit).  Timothy Farrell turns in his usual reliable one-note performance.  Almost the whole movie takes place in his apartment (the one scene where he actually goes outside is almost as shocking as seeing Dracula wandering around by daylight).

Don't know if Something Weird has this one yet, but Sinister Cinema does and I highly recommend it.

Tim Farrel (a favorite actor of mine) plays "Joe" in both "Gun Girls" & "Girl Gang". I saw "Girl Gang" at the Film Forum in NYC about 6  years ago.

It's almost a documentary when he goes through the heroin preparation routine!

Yes, definately a must-have. Exploitation at its finest.
