Everyone think of a television series, and then list the actors you would hire for a feature length theatrical movie.

I'd love to see everyone's interpretation of Gilligans island. That show has potential to be a comedy, film noir, thriller, horror, depending on how you cast it.

Skipper - James Gandolfini (woah, this is getting a little Mafia)
Professor -  John Malkovich or Christopher Walken. Tho Malkovich could actually be a good Mr. Howell too.

Possibilities are endless and each one makes for a totally different movie.I'd love the topic addressed of just exactly why they packed so much crap for just a three hour tour. the revelation of how evil gilligan really is could be exploited to the fullest.

The real question lies, could Jennifer Connelly pull off a better Ginger or Mary Ann?

So who has the ultimate gilligan cast?

As for GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, I saw a comical poster on the internet that showed:

KEANU REEVES as Gilligan
BRIAN DENNEHY as the Skipper

I can't remember who the others were, but the poster was hilarious and the people they chose for the cast were perfect. I wish I could find it again.

GILLIGAN'S ISLAND OF HORRORS...

Script:

EXT. DEEP IN SEA - CALM NIGHT.

A big party on the SS Minnow, as the passangers, Mr. and Mrs. Howell, the Professor, Mary Anne, and Ginger have a few too many drinks. Meanwhile, the Skipper is controling his ship, and asks Gilligan to see if the party needs anything from below deck.

Gilligan turns around and wacks his head against a sail post.

Strangly the crash, Gilligan sees the passangers as DEMONS knotting in a bezzar sexual orgy.

The sexy Ginger, stumbles toward Gilligan. Her half naked body displayed an extra set of breast, and from her waste down resembles a lower protion of a goat. She also had Demonic horns, a forked tounge and bat like wings that seems to act as a cloak.

GINGER
Do you what to make love with me?

GILLIGAN
(Puzzled)
Sure.

GINGER
Where?

Gilligan tries to shake-off the blow to his head.

GILLIGAN
You look different.

Ginger's third eye open from her forehead.

GINGER
What do you mean?

GILLIGAN
(Disbelief)
I dont know how to say it, but you sure look odd.

Gilligan curiously tries to touch Gingers third eye.

SKIPPER
(Shouts)
What the hell are you doing, Gilligan!

This made Gilligan jump, and he turns to the Skipper.

GILLIGAN
I... I...

The Skipper, a blue blob with sharp pointy teeth, a spiked hat, and tentacle arms. Snaps back at Gilligan.

SKIPPER
(Shouts)
Get below deck.

Gilligan in disblief, walks backwards, trying to shake-off the strange DEMONIC images of his pal and passangers.

GILLIGAN
This isnt happening...

Suddenly. Gilligan trips on his two feet and fall down a bunch of steps.

CUT TO:

INT. BELOW DECK-CALM NIGHT FEW MOMENTS LATER

Gilligan wakes up with his arms and legs all twisted as a pretzel.

A shadowly figure appears. Arnold Horshack, dressed in black leather and very calm and very friendly.

GILLIGAN
(Puzzled)
Who are you? How did you get on the boat?

ARNOLD
Lets face it you have a problem and I think I can help.

GILLIGAN
Help?

ARNOLD
(Softly adds)
The demons must die, Gilligan.

GILLIGAN
What demons? I hit my head and I'm seeing strange things.

ARNOLD
You'll hit your head and waken your blind spot. The demons were ruling the world for years and they happen to blind the nomal humans with their powers.

GILLIGAN
No-no... This is a wacky dream I'm having... This isnt real.

Gilligan runs up the stairs.

EXT. ABOVE DECK-CALM NIGHT

The demonic Passangers and Skipper sings "The Partridge Family" theme song as they toast a few more drinks.

Gilligan rubbing his eyes.

Arnold Horshack comes to Gilligan's side to comfort him.

ARNOLD
(Wispers)
Do you see, that they are evil. They lied to you and to the millions of nomal people. The demons must die.

GILLIGAN
(Wispers)
How...

Arnold Horshack hands Gilligan a shot gun.

ARNOLD
Take this holy weapon, and use it. It will stop the madness.

GILLIGAN
I... I dont know.

ARNOLD
Trust me, I know what I'm saying... stop the madness, and kill those demons.
(Strongly adds)
Now!!!

Gilligan takes the heavy weapon, and nervously walks closer to the evil demons.

GILLIGAN
I must stop the madness.

ARNOLD
Yea, stop the madness... kill them Gilligan.

GILLIGAN
I must stop the madness.

Uneasy lifting the powerful weapon.

GILLIGAN
I MUST STOP THE MADNESS.

Suddenly, Gilligan trips on his feet and pulls the trigger. The shotgun blast destroyed a large portion of the deck and making a hole in the bottem of the boat.

The SS Minnow starts to sink.
