Johnny Cash movie?

I heard a movie about Johnny Cash was gonna be made starring Joaquin Phoenix (oh god i hope i spelled that right!).  I only heard it mentioned on the news when I wasnt actually watching about a month ago.  I dont know if it was gonna be a made for tv movie or a lifetime movie or a real movie! Has anyone else heard about it? Is it for reals?

You know, I just realized where the name Paquita comes from.  Yes, I do feel stupid.

Anyway, I happen to have a incredible torn up issue of a Johnny Cash comic book in which he proclaims his love for the Lord.  Never mind his moribund cover of that Nine Inch Nails song, I have a feeling in my heart that Mr. Cash is going to be alright.

Why is Reese Witherspoon gonna play his wife!? Thats so backwards! The first movie I saw her in was Freeway and I thought she was really great in it and I loved her!  It took 2 Legally Blondes and Sweet Home Alabama to make me hate her! but i hate her now! Why cant they pick a more mature actress?  Or one that looks more like a woman and not so much a retarded dwarf!  I hope she refuses by the time they start filming!  It should be directed by Dolly Parton.
