It has Christopher Walkin and Johhny Depp in a conspiracy to kill the governor. Anyone else watch it and whats your opinion?

I was excited to see it when it came on cinemax a few yearsback.  I even taped it.  Then  my tape cracked and so I got the DVD.  :>  its an awesome movie  if only for the real time .  I liked it very much

Well that was fun...in a f****in' sick, terrible, not at all fun kinda way.

A kickass film!

I saw it for free in the theater when it was released because I used to date a girl who worked there.

It definitely is a pulse pounding tale.

One of the only films that I can think of that's in "real time".

It was one of those films where I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen next.

Dunners

yeah its really good. I just didnt like one thing......

spoiler...

The old guy gettign away. Now yer stuck wondering, whats gonna happen next!?

save the world, kill a politician or two.

One scene I happen to always think of is after Walken's character shoots the woman through the pillow and it shows the shot of her dead with the camera near the ground.  Walken is pointing at her says,

"You see that?"  "She was alive a minute ago, now she's dead!"

That scene is a great example of how good a villain Christopher Walken can be.

The Burgomaster

This is a fun movie and is very watchable. Definitely far-fetched, but fast-paced and never boring. I have seen it 3 or 4 times.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Neville

So-so. It is probably the best film Badham has made in a long time, but I still find it quite unsatisfying. It may be the nervous, fast paced camera work, or more likely, that completely gratuitous "dream" sequence that ruined the whole thing for me. Depp and Walken were both very good, I agree on that.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Dunners

yup, hes one of the best actors of the century.

save the world, kill a politician or two.

BoyScoutKevin

Seen it. Liked it.

Another film shot in real time is "The Set-up" w/ Robert Ryan. One of the better boxing films out there.

Enjoy both films.

Tranquil Featherman

I believe the writer had alot to do woith it as well. Walken only does as he's told, like all the other "robots" they hire in Hollywood these days.

Robot Roll Call: (Come on, let's go)
Cambot (Pan left)
Gypsy (Hi girl)
Tom Servo (What a cool guy)
Croooow! (You little wisecracker)
