OT.....well, sort of......

I've been a "night owl/bad movie watcher" for years. There's a guy I used to see late at night on PBS, a scientist. He wore a chest mounted microphone and was spastic and sweaty explaining all kinds of things at a chalk board. Can anyone tell me this guys name?

Nope. Not Jack. I do like him tho. The guy I'm talking about was older and had crazy, whacky grey hair and spoke really fast and excited.
