THE STALKING MOON (1969) - Gregory Peck stars in this Western. He plays an indian scout who is stalked by an Indian who follows him and his companions like the moon follows one at night. An unusually suspenseful Western that has good location shots and music. Gregory Pecks presense on the screen is always big. I have also liked Westerns MCKENNA'S GOLD and THE BRAVADOS starring Gregory Peck. THE STALKING MOON could have been done as a present day drama, but this one is set in the West. Arizona and New Mexico more specifically. Over all its an Ok as a Western.
