I can't believe that happened! Walmart sucks anyway (although I'm going to have to go there in order to buy a DVD player that plays Region 2 DVDs).

Dunno about movies but most places that sell alchohol will basically card you now if they think you look under 30 or 40, just to be safe.

What really sucks is when you stop getting carded.  I actually was carded at a bar this past New Year's Day, I was stunned, though it wasn't hard to stun me that day.  Never was carded at the movies, or video store.

Consider yourself lucky, they used to card me for movies and alcohol, but have stopped.Starting to look my age I guess.

Maybe it's the employees figuring better safe than sorry. The last time I got carded for buying a movie it was for my VHS copy of "Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels".

i'm heading to wal-mart tonite!

The last time i was carded was about 5 years ago on one of the casino boats at shreveport. They finger you out of the crowd and make you stand in line and show your ID..i was actually quite happy too.

I can't ever recall being carded for anything except beer & cigars.

I'm going to be 30 but I look like I'm 20.  (So everyone tells me)

I have to admit that if Wal Mart or a similar place carded me and I didn't have my I.D. on me I would probably tell them off and they would lose the sale.

I would drive out of my way to buy it elsewhere.

I would find it personally insulting to be carded for a DVD or CD...neither of which are hazardous to my health.

My wife and I were both carded recently when ordering drinks at a restaurant...we're both in our early 30s...I get carded for alcohol fairly regularly.
She got carded at a casino back in July.   I have a feeling it will stop in a year or two, though.
