Is anyone going to watch the new show THE BELZER CONNECTION on Sci-Fi Channel Tuesday night at 10pm Eastern time? Looks like fun. Remember when Hulk Hogan put him in a headlock and he passed out an hit his head on t he table back in the 80's?

Looks like Sci-Fi Channel is changing its image a bit with THE BELZER CONNECTION and SCARE TACTICS.

Did anyone see MOSQUITO and ARACHNID yesterday on Sci-Fi? I didn't have time to watch both, but loved what I did see. Especially the Mosquto's chasing the van through the woods. Now thats B-movie making. With no CGI.

I'm going to watch Joe on MSNBC and since when does paranormal has to do with the sci fi channel it is not a scientific channel so they should should stop making more of those tuesday things( but the connections does look good sounds like fun).

I've never cared for Belzer and I can't explain why.

Maybe its how he looks.
Those pseudointellectual glasses he wears...UUGH!!
I want to grab them off his face and stomp on 'em!

And his name.....that's a nerd name if I ever heard one!

Yea, I never liked Belzer much either, but the show concept is good. Maybe it will be a Art Bell type program on TV. Belzer also had some kind of book out last year about similiar subjects.

Belzer is a well known conspiracy nut, especially about the JFK assassination. So it may take an Art Bell type tone as Scott said. SciFi still going off in goofy directions with their programming it seems like. Talk shows and attempts at "reality" programming on a channel who part of its name is an abbreviation of "fiction." I know this type of programming is cheaper, but how many "Dream Team" type flops do they need before they see the light.

I'll give it a shot since Belzer can be entertaining with his political rants and conspiracy stuff, even when I don't agree with him. I just dread the thought of him having Dan Ackoyd on, since he is clearly over the edge with his beliefs. I wish Belzer would call people on stuff they say if it sets off his BS detector (like moon landing debunkers) but since he is a conspiracy nut himself who knows.

I just hope it's better than that stupid "Conspiracy Zone" show with Kevin Nealon. I've never liked Nealon but that show was even worse than his usual crap. Most shows had one or two die-hard devotees to what ever the topic of the show might be (Area 51, Roswell, Jim Morrison, etc.) and the rest of the panel made up of D-level celebrities and comedians trying to crack wise and failing.

Fearless Freep

Other than MST3K on Sat. mornings and the occasional monster movie marathon of some sort, I've given up on Sci-Fi.  Certainly for their own material.

My biggest disapproval is that dumb liberal girl that hates Christians and any one that is conservative the way she argues is stupid, her name is like jenny or something like that.

Seen the whole show about Princess Diana. It was good. The second one about Majestic 12 was ok, but that one guy was annoying and ruined the show.

Mr_Vindictive

I caught the last 15 minutes of the princess Diana conspiracy episode.  I never even knew that any conspiracy theories existed around that particular happening.  A lot of interesting information was brought up in that discussion.  I had no idea that Diana was possibly pregnant, nor the fact that it took the medics nearly 2 hours to transport her 4 miles to a local hospital.

I thought the MJ12 episode was great.  I'm a big fan of Al Franken, and was suprised to find out that he is a complete skeptic.  He stuck to his position the entire time and just had fun with the situation.  Ice-T was the one I agreed with most on this episode.  His two points were exactly what I've always thought.

A. We Are Not Alone

B. The Government Lies

I agree with the second point especially (WMD anyone?).  Pretty good show, I'll probably try to catch it next week as well.
