About a yeah ago I want to Teleport City and there was a review for a movie called "Five Deadly Venom" it sounded cool so I called Sun Coast, they had it, and I bought it. After I finished watching it I was like, wow those guys rock! After that I heard there are more movies staring the "Venoms" and I'm wondering what are some of the good one that are worth seeing. Two weeks ago a bought the "Nine Demon/Venoms' DVD and boy does it suck. The characters names are changed to names like  Gary, or Matt, the dubbing's pretty bad and the movie makes littie sense. The fighting is pretty cool and I heard that the end fight is well done(I havn't watched all of it yet) and it turns out only one "Venom" actor gets a big role while another gets a cameo. By the way is "The Return of the Five Deadly Venoms" any good (if the name varies, it said on the box the villian wears Iron claws and uses Tiger marital arts)

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Five Deadly Venoms, Dave.  You won't ever be the same again.  If you liked what you saw, especially with Five Deadly Venoms (this is usually considered to be one of the slower movies in the Venoms collection), then be prepared to be even more amazed.  Nine Demon/Venoms is typically considered to be the "bad movie" of the Venoms series.  Although I thought it was funny (like you said, they changed the names to Joey and stuff like that, LOL) it wasn't even close to the best.  Here are my favorites:

Chinese Super Ninjas:  One of my favorite kung fu movies of all time.  Got me started on watching kung fu at a very early age.  Really cool story, a neat plot, and incredible fights.  Simply awesome.

Killer Army:  More of the usual kick ass stuff.  Haven't seen this in awhile, so I can't get into much detail, but I remember it kicking all sorts of ass.

Flag of Iron:  If the use of flags as weapons puts you off, then you might want to rent this movie (if that's even possible).  Otherwise, go for it.  Again, incredible stuff here.

Kid with the Golden Arm:  More great kung fu from the masters.

To answer your question, Return of the Five Deadly Venoms is amazing.  It's about two guys overcoming handicaps and working together and training to beat the guy who gave them the handicaps.  I won't go into much more detail, just go see it, immediately.

One thing to note:  Some of the DVD's that are out right now are cut.  Especially the ones by Ground Zero.  The Kid with the Golden Arm is massively cut, Chinese Super Ninjas is cut as well.  I went ahead and got the DVD's that are available at places like Suncoast (they're the ones with the yellowish covers) just to have the movies.  But if Celestial ends up re-releasing them, then I'll get them if they're uncut.  Just some FYI there.

If these movies don't hook you, I'll be surprised.  Check this awesome site out for much more detail.  I only glossed over a few of the movies to give you a start.  Here it is:

A great site, with in-depth reviews of the movies.  This should get you started.  Go to the reviews section to find out about the movies and the DVDs.  If I find any more links, I'll post them here.  There used to be a Five Deadly Venoms Resource Page that was incredible, but I don't know if it's still up.  Hope this helps getting ya started, Dave.

Dear Dolph,
I hate to correct you, but I feel that I must. Return of the Five Deadly Vemons was about FOUR men that had to overcome their handicaps. A Deaf mute, a Blind guy, a man with no legs, and a man driven INSANE by torture. I don't want to give away the story either, but Dave, you've got to check it out. It's an awesome flick.

Thanks guys, geez I can't believe how many errors I started out with when the post began. I have to ask do all the cool styles appear again in later movies? Cuz I want to see more of Scorpian style,  Snake and Toad Styles are also bad ass in fact all the styles rock.

G-man, thanks for the correction!  It's been awhile since I've seen Return, and you're exactly right.
