There is a little known movie.  I only say that because I've never seen it anywhere except for the dollar bin I got it out of when my local video store closed down.  It's called Too Scared To Scream and it stars Mike Connors (TV's Mannix).  He plays a detective trying to solve a murder and the main suspect is a make-up wearing, poetry spouting, weirdo with a mother who will not speak.  It's wonderful in it's every detective movie cliche glory.  Watch as characters appear tell their backstory for dramatic effect and then are never seen or heard from again.  There are some gratuitous shower scenes and of course there is the 70's black maid who comes in after the crime scene and gets attacked by a bird, she then proceeds to call said bird, "A Jive Turkey."  If you see it, pick it up.  Also Kingdom Of The Spiders starring William Shatner and a lot of spiders.  How can you go wrong with The Shat.

The Burgomaster

I worked in a video store back in the 1980s. We had this movie. I took it home for FREE one night, and I was p**sed off about how bad it was. I can't imagine how aggravated I would have been if I had to pay for it.
