I returned home last night from a great Halloween, to see that I had a message on my Voice Mail.  I played the message, and was shocked at what I was hearing.  

Sirens!

Someone shouting: "There's nothing to see here!"

A woman screaming: "What do you think you are doing!?"

Something that sounded like a robot speaking then a man speaking in tongues.  

Finally a woman saying: "Everything is A. OK.  Everything is now under control."

Over all of this was a strong sci fi type theme music.



Needless to say, I was severly creeped out.  Especially since I have a block on private numbers...........You see, you have to dial *82 before my number to contact me.

This number came up as unknown......


This scared the hell out of me.  Especially since I had seen something quite strange earlier yesterday (another time, another post).

I racked my brain about what the call meant.  I needed to know who made the call, yet even when I called Sprint, they had no listing for the number.




I was lost until tonight.  I recieved this email from Metacortex (Yes, Neo's Metacortex).


Dear BetaTest applicant,

On the evening of October 31st, a large electrical storm passed through a portion of the Pacific Northwest. Power surges and outages were reported in the Redland area in particular. Our own backup systems survived the disturbance.

It has come to our attention that our MetaBroadcast server (which has remote connections to outside providers) momentarily went down, resulting in automated phone calls going out to a portion of our current applicant database. Holy s**t so that was what that was.I came home after seeing Kill Bill (Which by the way absolutely f**king kicked ass) and found this weird message on my machine.It kinda freaked me out, but after listening to it for about 30 times I finnaly understood it.

I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.  However, let us examine what I understand of it:
 
Of course, a thousand million is 1,000,000,000 or a billion.  Twice that would be 2 billion.  Then, after stopping the wheels, there are only a billion.  A thousand thousand thousand is 1,000,000,000 which is 1 billion also.
 
Now, is this some parable about or reliance on machines and that without them we cannot survive?  Or, does this mean that perhaps we are (or in the Matrix world, the people in the movies) the machines?  Or, does it mean that the people in the Matrix will die if they do not have the machines to keep them alive?

Does anyone have any input on this?

That did not really lead me anywhere.  However, if you read all of the
pages from Beth McConnell, you will see how they almost relate to the
Matrix.  As a matter of fact, you have got to see the 'Current Research'
section which shows anomolies that must be caused by the Matrix robots
or something.

So, anyway, I went to the hosting company.  It is not a real hosting
company probably, though, because their members page is very insecure
and has only one login!

Now, this is insecure, but it is not very easy.  You see, the passcode
value is the total of the multiplication of the decimal value of every
character within the password.

97 to 122 are the possible decimal values that can be used, it is all
lowercase (because their script forces it to be).  Now, since it will
pass it to the password screen without the need for the username, I
wrote this script:

101 does translate partially from binary into 5.  But if you translate it into english, it comes up to the letter "E".  

What if Neo is actually a machine?  That would explain the emp blast in Reloaded, and why he passed out.  Sure, he could be Neo 5.0 or, as I said it translates to "E".  End maybe?  I don't know.  

I guess we will find out soon enough.
