BILLY THE KID VS DRACULA (1966) - Rough viewing. I don't know what to say, but I know the title was more entertaining than the film. Dracula looked like Dr. Smith from Lost in Space and when he was about to do something vampirish his face would glow red. Billy the Kid is actually a good guy and never does anything that would lead you to think he was bad in anyway. The best scene with Billy is when he throws his gun at Dracula and knocks him out and then drives a stake into him as the frequent appearence of a rubber bat leaves out the window and falls behind a bush. This is a poor movie almost as poor as THEY SAVED HITLERS BRAIN. I've seen parts of JESSE JAMES MEET FRANKENSTEINS DAUGHTER and looks to atleast be more entertaining than BILLY THE KID VS DRACULA. Both of these Western/Horrors are directed by the same man.

When the vampire in BILLY THE KID VS DRACULA bites someone his teeth leave four wound marks. Upper and lower fangs that are never shown. That must be a "first" in a vampire film.

I agree that the climax was the best part of the film, in which Dracula is repeatedly shot without flinching, but a gun butt--hurled at a much slower velocity--is able to render him virtually unconcious.  Then  iron spike is driven through his chest.  Hee Hee!
Schlocky, but a highlight of Monsterfest, was Frankenstein's Daughter, which I haven't seen in years. Don Murphy as Victor Frankenstein's descendant Oliver, experimenting on his lovely neice and her comely friend Sally Todd.  Where the title came from is anyone's guess.   One of my alltime favorite Bs.

Some people like cupcakes better--I for one care less for them

Onionhead how about when Dracula is carrying the girl up the hill toward the mine shaft. He almost didn't make it. He made Bela Lugosi look like Superman.

Taped this off AMC some time ago (when they still only had one commercial interruption!)  It's so bad I've only watched it once yet I can't bring myself to get rid of it!  Not funny, not scary, too dull to even be entertaininly boring (huh?).

I like how AMC put them at like 3 AM in the morning for nobody would be able to see them but kept playing those crappy Halloween sequels through the day...

I taped both of them and I would pretty much agree, the movies themselves don't seem to live up to the freaky titles. They're worth having I guess because of 60's cult movie nostalgia.

Despite being another classic directed by William "One Shot" Beaudine, there's not too much that's memorable about this one. I digged how the rubber bat would fly behind a bush and then Dracula would walk out from behind the bush a second later, very Sesame Street. And is it just my imagination, or was the rubber bat wearing a top hat?

I liked it.  I liked when he looked and the mirror and went "uuuuuuuuuuuuughhhhhhhgghnnnnnnnnn"
