Okay, so the video game/comic book genre is being slaughtered as we speak, but there's one that I hope to God gets made, and made well:

Hitman 2.

I just picked up this game a few days ago at the local Best buy for $15 and I haven't been able to put it down.

The main character is a hitman (hence the name, methinks) called number 47.
I never played the first one, so I have no idea of the beginnings of this guy, but the second game starts with 47 working as a groundskeeper for a Catholic church, and he's been trying to work on his pennance with the priest - probably for all the people he killed in the first game!

Surprise, surprise, nothing good lasts forever and his priest friend is taken hostage; so #47 has to come out of retirement and kick some butt!

The best thing about this game is you can play it ninja style and kill 0-2 people per level, and get cool weapon upgrades, or play it Rambo style where even the stop signs are not immune to your wrath and you don't earn diddly!

With the main character being a fourty-something tall, slender, bald chap, the main character could be very effectively played by Patrick Stewart or possibly Jason Statham (though he already did a similar character in The Transporter). At a stretch, maybe Willem Dafoe.

Has anyone else played this game? Do you think Hollywood wouldn't screw it up too bad?

While on a journey, Chuang Tzu found an old skull, dry and parched.
With sorrow, he questioned and lamented the end of all things.
When he finished speaking, he dragged the skull over and, using it for a pillow, lay down to sleep.
In the night, the skull came to his dreams and said, 'You are a fool to rejoice in the entanglements of life.'
Chuang Tzu couldn`t believe this and asked, 'If I could return you to your life, you would want that, wouldn`t you?'
Stunned by Chuang Tzu`s foolishness, the skull replied, 'How do you know that it is bad to be dead?'

I'm currently obsessed with HALO and SPLINTER CELL.

Maybe I'll pick up HITMAN 2 . . .

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

I got HItman 2 when it first came out.  I think is is superb in the many different ways you can clear each board and how you can trick the enemies.  I'm not sure what Hollywood would do to it though, and that would scare me.

Part one is about 47 becoming a hitman for hire.  He was cloned (hence the name 47 i think) and brought up for that purpose.  Somewher along the line he figures this out and has to destroy his clones.  It's different from the second one because there is less stealth involved and that makes it a bit unrealistic.  In the chinese food level  (I think thats in the fisrt one)  you can literally run throughout the entire board and noone will shoot at you or think about it.  However in part 2 running usually gets you spotted except for certain boards (mideast Bazaar).

I used to own part one but i lost it :<  Neer got to finish it either

Well that was fun...in a f****in' sick, terrible, not at all fun kinda way.

I agree... I would love to see a movie like that. Goodfellas is one of my all time favs...
