She stole the show

Yesterday I got the special edition Two Towers and watched for the first time since it was in the theaters.  I am a fan of the books and I think the movies are really doing them justice.  I was reminded yesterday how much Miranda Otto as Eowyn stole the show in the second movie and, in my opinion, has given one of the best performances of a Tolkien character (rivaled only by Ian McKellan and Sean Bean IMO).  I can't wait to see her again later this month in Return of the King, and I hope this leads to leading roles in other movies (she was in bit parts in What Lies Beneath and Thin Red Line).

So here's the bad-movie related question:  Miranda Otto is Australian...  Is it possible that she's related to Barry Otto, the Australian star of Howling III, Andrew's most recent review?
