I start work in Des Moines, Iowa on Monday for Principal Financial.

I work all day with little scallies who haven't worked, don't want to work and will never work, so it's nice to come across someone who *wants* employment.

Well, I have  awife and five kids so it's not an option.


However, I enjoy building software systems so it's a bit like getting paid for a hobby :)

Des Moines is about a 2 hour drive from where I live & about 3 hours from where Brother R. lives.

Be sure to bring warm clothing cause it's freezing up here!!

Welcome to Iowa, Mr. Freep.  Actually, Des Moines is only about 2 hours from where I live.  In fact, I'm going there Thursday Dec. 11 for a Type O Negative/Cradle of Filth concert.  
We'll have to arrange some time to hang out and watch some flicks one of these days.
