Any of you watch the second season of BAYWATCH NIGHTS when it ran back in 1996-1997?

That had to be the funniest (in a B-movie sense) series in the last ten years on TV.  To help ratings for the 2nd (and final) season, the show's producer, David Hasselhoff, combined the popularity of X-Files with the Baywatch theme!  You can read the episode descriptions by CLICKING HERE.

I remember laughing until tears came streaming out while watching "The Rig".  Talk about narrowing your focus!  Every creature or plot had to involve the ocean or the beach.  Basically, monsters on vacation.  It was played straight, but it was some of the silliest stuff ever made.

Yes, I never watched the first season, but did see the second. Very silly.

The episode with the blob-like creature on the oil rig featured one of the greatest lines of dialogue ever when Donna D'Erico was worrying about the whereabouts of Hasselhoff's character.

"What am I worried about? It's Mitch Buchanan...in a boat...on the water."

Priceless. Simply priceless.
