The Stateline Motel (1975)

THE STATELINE MOTEL (1975) - This movie is very good. It starts out with a young guy (Fabio Testi) getting out of a prison in Canada and he has 48 hours to leave the country and go back to the U.S. were he's from. Outside the prison is his ride (Eli Wallach) and within 10 minutes of getting out of jail they pull up to a jewerly store and rob it wearing mask. A great police chase ensues with some cool driving. After that they spit up and agree to meet back in the U.S.., but Fabios character hits a snow bank and he has to stay at a motel near the border to get his car repaired. He gets tangled up with Ursula Andress who want to go with him. Meanwhile Eli Wallach is anxiously waiting and thinking he's been double crossed decides to look for Fabio. Good story and all the stars are excellent. Again I picked this Italian gem up for $2.99 at my local Acme.
