CHARADE (1963) - Good goverment agent type of film. A group of GI's steal lots of money during WWII and they want to get it back from a dead man who was part of the group. The wife didn't know anything about the husband and it makes for a hillarious funeral. The film stars Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, Walter Matthau, Jame Coburn, and George Kennedy in this film that could be a comedy, thriller, romance, or mystery. The group of thugs are great as they try to find the money. Keeps you guessing all the way to the end. Good film, don't miss it when it comes on TV again. Anyone ever see this one?

Another one of my favorites. Good Comedy-Threiller. Cary Grant is wicked cool, Audrey Hepburn is wicked hot. Walter Matthau is appropriately slimey. Awesome flick...even those who dislike George Kennedy should see this one. It was recently remade with Mark Wahlburg(who seems to be determined to remake every cool 60's film). The new film is The Truth About Charlie, haven't seen it, can't see it improving on the original.

Everyone has potentially fatal flaws, but yours involve a love of soldiers' wives, an insatiable thirst for whiskey, and the seven weak points in your left ventricle.

Yep, and a couple other good films along the subject of war loot, but not in the same sense as CHARADE are THE THREE KINGS (1999) starring George Clooney and KELLY'S HEROS (1970) starring Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas, Don Rickles, Carrol O'Conner, Donald Sutherland, and even Gavin MacLeod.

Yeah, this is a good one, and I think it's the villains--James Coburn, Ned Glass, George Kennedy, and one surprise, which I won't give away--which make it a good one.

The Burgomaster

This is one of my favorites.  I had it on VHS and I now own it on DVD.  MAD MAGAZINE did a very funny version of it many years ago.
