Mexican Horror films made around the year 1960 are something to behold. They are all in b/w and all have great atmosphere. These Mexican films are kinda like the old Universal Studios horror films here in the U.S. They all have a similiar look with different stories. Here are the ones that I've seen and the order that I put them in. The best on top:

1) The Curse of the Crying Woman
2) Samson vs the Vampire Woman
3) Bloody Vampire
4) Doctor of Doom
5) Samson in the Wax Museum
6) Bring Me the Vampire
7) Robot vs Aztec Mummy
8) Vampires Coffin

The ones that I would really like to see are:

Brainiac
El Vampiro
The Living Head

I'm not going to put Alucarda on the list as it was a great 70's film. A different era.

One that everyone MUST see (also a 70s film) is NIGHT OF THE BLOODY APES.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Yea, I have a 5-10 minute pre-view of NIGHT OF THE BLOODY APES on my SOMETHING WEIRD SAMPLER and it is a wild and crazy looking film.

Burgomaster, here is the address on the back of the Telefilms box:

You can often find them dirt-cheap on EBay....I got my copy of THE BRAINIAC that way.

I've also seen them at Walgreens!

Scott

Thanks for the heads up JMC. I'll look into it later.

Max Gardner

The El Santo movies are a good time.  Especially when El Santo teams up with his friend and fellow luchadore Blue Demon.

Scott

The Samson ones that I have are Santo films. They just change Santos name for U.S. distribution.

Saw the Brainiac rectently, a lot of fun -probably one of the best and I've seen most of the ones you listed.  The Santo movies are alright but some are really boring.
