There are a lot of discussions about people's favorite James Bond movie.  But which is the WORST James Bond movie?

In my opinion, YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE is the worst.  Other than the ninja attack at the end, it's pretty pathetic.

Many people will say ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE because they don't like George Lazenby.  I actually don't mind Lazenby (I'd rather watch him than Roger Moore any day).  Plus, I think ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE would have been the best Bond film of all if Connery had been in it.  (It is one of my favorites even without Connery).

A lot of critics wrote lousy reviews of DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.  It is pretty silly, and Bond is chubby, but YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE is worse.

I think the biggest Roger Moore stinker is A VIEW TO A KILL.  Although, the part of OCTOp***y where he is dressed in a clown suit makes me sick every time I see it.

And, of course, the "fake" Bond movie NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN is also pretty dull.

Any other opinions?

I like You Only Live Twice it's got a fun feeling to it plus I like the bond girls in it. My least favorite is either Moonraker (the space battle was cool thought) or The Man with the Golden Gun (It has it's moments and Christopher Lee was cool.). I like ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE  as well I'd I'd rather watch Lazenby than Moore any day also.

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

I think some of the newer ones. Mabey Tomorrow Never Dies to little of Q (he's cool!). I guess the new one was okay. The truth is nomatter how hard I try I will always end up liking any Bond film. I'm too forgiving

OHMSS is one of the best Bond movies, in my opinion. The early Roger Moore movies were okay, but after awhile, being in a clown suit was appropriate for Moore.

I think Die Another Day was the absolute worst Bond film. It was so unbelievably bad!! It brought back most of the goofy gadgetry, and despite its budget, some of the cheapness of the 80's Bond movies. There was so much awfulness floating around in that flick, that I can't even pinpoint one particular thing. Wait, the invisible car....that was one particulary awful thing. Horrible.....just horrible.

Everyone has potentially fatal flaws, but yours involve a love of soldiers' wives, an insatiable thirst for whiskey, and the seven weak points in your left ventricle.

I pretty much discount any of the Roger Moore  Bond films. I liked  Lazenby and I also liked Timothy Dalton because he brought  a hard edge back to Bond after all those  stupid Roger Moore films.  Brosnan is okay.

I really get a laugh out of talk about people like Orlando Bloom or Ewan McGregor  being candidates for the part when Pierce leaves.

I read a while back that  Quinton Tarintino  was talking to Pierce Brosnan about wanting to direct a Bond movie, particularly  a serious remake of Casino Royale (a real Ian Fleming  Bond novel).

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Moonraker.  Having a shootout like that in space?  I don't think so.  Definitely a jump the shark moment.  It was then that I realized the movie makers  were relying on special effects and events, rather than telling a story.  I could never really get  back into Bond after that.  Haven't seen any of the Dalton/Brosnan versions, though.

Yeah, just go read some of the junk I've seen in the "worst movie ever" thread and then tell me to speak badly of a Bond film :)

I think A View to a Kill was my least favorite. Wasn't that also the one with the least gadgets?
