AMC will be playing WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS (1966) Tuesday August 31 at 11:30 A.M. Eastern Time.

Don't miss this one ! Saw it a few time in the early 70's and left an impression on me.  It's been about 30 years since I've seen it. I'm sure it still holds up. If you like Japanese monsters, then you must see this one.

Yes, I remember seeing this movie several times on the tube in the early 70s when I was a kid. It definitely left an impression. Wasn't one of the Gargantuas good and one evil?

Scott

Yep, thats the one. You know I've never seen WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS  played nor listed in 30 years. Have anyone noticed it playing since? Went down town feeling and walking like a giant monster just after the movie.  : )

Right now I'm watching RODAN on AMC. This one has been played alot over the years, but this is the first chance I've viewed it since the 70's. Nice memories and viewing.

Close up.

Hey, AMC is out doing it's self today. Now they are playing the original GODZILLA: KING OF MONSTERS. Raymond Burr now crawling out of the rubble.................

I've seen WOTG on TV quite often over the years, used to be a staple back during the days of independent TV stations that showed lots of movies. This and "Frankenstein Conquers the World" both. so much that I get them confused sometimes. Maybe it's the Russ Tamblyn/Nick Adams thing.

Anyway had this on while trying to go to sleep today, I like it on that "can pay attention or not" level. And AMC was doing better than usual as far a decent movies today.

Does anyone else think that during the scenes where the green one quickly runs through and stomps on town and villages that the green monster runs like a girl?
