Do you know somebody who is really easy to scare? I don't mean jumping out and yelling BOO! I mean freaking them out with a little suggestive talk.

Being the youngest in my family, I fell victim to this a lot as a kid. I suppose that's why I enjoy it so much now.

Since my wife is the oldest in her family, and used to dishing it out, I seldom get the upper hand in teasing games, but her Achilles heel is horror movies. She can't stand them.

Lately, the TV spots for The Grudge have really been bugging her. I'll admit they are very effective, but she turns down the volume and looks away whenever one comes on.

Occasionally, I'll just grab the remote first and turn it up. But the real fun comes later, when we've both turned in for the night, the commercial is forgotten, and she asks me to get up and shut the closet door.

"But it's only open a couple of inches. The little meowing kid can't get through there."

"Eeeeww, don't say that!"

And if she hears a noise, "it's the little meowing kid coming to get you."

"Shut up!"

And occasionally, I'll just imitate the sound. Drives her nuts. It's hilarious.

Anybody else enjoy doing this to somebody.

Oh yes sir, I can relate to that. I love doing things to get reactions from people and my wife gets very annoyed at me with all of the things I do.
What I really used to enjoy was scaring my first wife. She had some kind of affliction when it came to clowns and, of all things, the cartoon character Huckleberry Hound. I don't know where these problems came from but I used them to my advantage. I would talk like HH occasionally and then act like I didn't do it at all. "What are you talking about? Huckleberry who? Why would I do that?" The clowns part of it was even easier to work with and yielded much better results. We watched "IT" when it was first run on tv. When she realized "IT" appeared as a clown, she could no longer watch the show. I found a picture of the clown in a magazine and hung it up on the bathroom mirror one morning before I went to work. Wish I could've been there to see that. I would also use the line from the movie, I think it was "they float down here"...oh, good times. Numerous times I   would hang pictures in the closet behind her clothes so when she would move them, a clown would be staring at her. Was this mean? Sure it was but the lazy ho'  deserved it. I am not that mean now but I still have fun with irritating and scaring people whenever I get a chance.
