for some reason this is one of those horror movies from the 80's i always wanted to rent but just until now i finally got around to seeing.  Andrew does a good job of summing it up on the review here.  if you have an aversion to the the 80's i would not recommend watching this, the film is full of 80's slang, fashion, and even parodies the glutonous, over-indulgent behavior of the time (unless if i read too deep into it).

but overall i enjoyed it.  the effects were dated in a few areas, which is to be expected, but the creature was cool looking, hell he had a tentacle with an eye on it, and a face that looked like a mr. potato head thrown on raw hamburger while on LSD.  the theme song was interesting too, real catchy, like a cross between skinny puppy and the b-52's.

yeah and yess. kidding. i own this movie. i do not dislike it. it is misunderstood by a lot of people including me. some-thing about it kinda made me feel "carsick." i will eventually watch it again. with an air-sickness bag.

chopper...hopefully i am not replying to the notorious australian criminal of the same name. you haven't sliced your own ears off have you???

lol...you all know my secret now!  yes that was my original intentions behind where my username came from, but now i like to think of it like a Mr. Lobo, vintage horror show host personna name.  i've calmed down since my younger years ;)

The Burgomaster

I worked in a video store back in the 1980s and we had a copy of TERROR VISION.  I brought it home and watched it one night, and I'm still suffering.
