Vote for Uwe: http://www.petitiononline.com/uwelive/petition.html

There are currently 4473 votes for Uwe, some of which were clearly made by stupid people who thought they were voting for him to stop making movies.

I voted to keep Uwe making movies, even though I haven't seen one yet.  I think anyone who would actually get in a boxing ring and beat the crap out of his critics has earned the right to make whatever movies he wants to, no matter how inept, no matter how many video game fans he offends.

Support Bad Movies: support Uwe!

Well, he was some sort of golden gloves champ before getting into movie making, so I don't think it takes too much courage on his part to challenge his critics to boxing matches   Also, I might be wrong on this, but I think the only critic he boxed had never actually reviewed one of his movies, but was just some publicity hound.

I voted for Oo-vah to keep making movies.  What the hell, he got Kristanna Loken to take her top off in Bloodrayne (or so I've heard, still meaning to pick up the DVD.  they don't show that part on the Sci-Fi Channel).  Gotta respect anybody who'll put out that sort of effort for his audience.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Yep, but that thread's about the petition to STOP Boll from making movies.  This is about the COUNTERPETITION to KEEP him making movies.  Totally different topic. :teddyr:

Signed. While House of the Dead sucks ass, Alone in the Dark and Bloodrayne are both very underrated, and POSTAL looks phenomenal. I've yet to see the rest of his films but I'm not signing a petition against somebody who clearly improves with everything he does (Though I wouldn't sign a petition to stop anybody from doing something they love, no matter how good or bad they are at it).

I've heard a lot of badness direction against this guy, but I don't know why.  Is he really that bad at making movies?

Good to know I'm not the only who signed the petition.  Only saw half of House of the Dead because the DVD died on me but was in awe of it.  Boll does bad but not boring...

Done!

Postal sounds like it could be fun, I like movies that don't take themselves too seriously, especially when they don't take seriously people that DO take themselves too seriously. I think it kinda balances things out. .

Well, House of the Dead is terrible, but most of the others are just fine...

Most of the problems in HotD are from the script, though, so why blame a director for that? Okay, there are some stupidly pointless effects shots and the footage from the game was retarded, but most of the suckage came from the events which occur and not the way the scenes are directed...
